Search Tips for the Fulltext Search
The full text search includes all content in the Online Collection. The results show all information available in the Online Collection on an object where the search term appears. Specific search fields allow more specific searches for information. Dropdown lists are available in the collection, artist, title and object type fields to facilitate searches.
When searching, a star (*) serves for multiple character wildcard search, a question mark (?) for single character wildcard search. A tilde (~) at the end of a search term produces search results that are similar in spelling. With ‘AND’, ‘OR’, or ‘NOT’ various search terms can be combined (e.g. Kirchner AND 20th century).
